Italy the number one in America

Germany was the most important
export market for Italy’s natural Stone (http://g603.net) industry for a long time, but the USA meanwhile holds the top position. Exports to Germany shrank again in 2001, namely by over 15 percent in value and (http://maplered.com) as much as over 23 percent in quantity. The value of exports, however, still reached 344 million euro. On the other hand (http://maplered.com) , exports to the USA rose ?although only by a good one percent ?to a new record value of almost 584 million euro. From the fourth quarter of 2001 onwards, that is, after 11 September, a definite drop was then also noticeable in this market. Altogether, Italy exported natural Stone (http://g603.net) s and (http://maplered.com) natural Stone (http://g603.net) products to the value of almost 210 billion euro last year, which corresponds to about minus three percent.
